Sailor Piece Stat Points Guide — Best Builds & How Stats Work

April 4, 2026

What Are Stat Points?

Every time you level up in Sailor Piece, you earn Stat Points that you can spend to power up your character. There are 4 stats you can invest in, and how you distribute them determines your entire build.

Sailor Piece Stat Points GUI

Open your stats panel by clicking STATS in the bottom menu bar. You'll see your available points and can allocate them using the + buttons.

The 4 Stats Explained

StatWhat It DoesBest For
MeleeIncreases damage of melee/fighting stylesPlayers using Specs like Moon Slayer, Strongest Shinobi, Sukuna, etc.
DefenseIncreases your HPEveryone — survivability is always useful
SwordIncreases damage of swordsPlayers using swords like Shadow Monarch, Atomic, Abyssal Empress
PowerIncreases damage of Devil Fruit abilitiesPlayers building around Light, Quake, or other fruits

Important: 1 stat point = 1 point of upgrade. There's no diminishing returns — every point matters equally.

Best Stat Builds

Sword Build (Recommended for Beginners)

StatAllocation
Sword60-70%
Defense20-30%
Melee0-10%
Power0%

The safest and most consistent build for new players. Sword damage scales directly with weapon upgrades, making progression smooth. Add Defense for survivability against bosses.

Melee Build (For Fighting Style Mains)

StatAllocation
Melee60-70%
Defense20-30%
Sword0-10%
Power0%

Best once you have a strong fighting style like Moon Slayer, Strongest Shinobi, or Corrupted Excalibur. Don't go Melee build until you actually have a good spec.

Fruit Build (For Devil Fruit Users)

StatAllocation
Power60-70%
Defense20-30%
Sword0-10%
Melee0%

Only go Power build if you have a strong fruit like Light or Quake that you plan to keep long-term. Power is wasted if you're going to switch fruits often.

Hybrid Build (Not Recommended)

Spreading points evenly across all stats is a common mistake. You end up mediocre at everything instead of strong at one thing. Pick a main damage stat and commit to it.

The #1 Mistake New Players Make

Splitting points evenly between Melee, Sword, and Power. This makes every damage route underpowered. Your Haki, traits, accessories, and enchantments all amplify your base stat — so a focused build with high base damage gets multiplied way more than a spread build.

Stat Tiers (Stat Master NPC)

Separate from stat point allocation, there's a Stat Tier system. Visit the Stat Master NPC on Sailor Island to reroll your stat tiers.

Higher stat tiers give bigger multipliers to your base stats. Aim for at least S tier on your main damage stat. SSS is extremely rare but massively powerful.

How to Reset Stat Points

You can reset your stat point allocation directly from the stats GUI — click the "Reset Stats" button at the bottom of the panel. This costs Gems.

You can also visit the Stat Master NPC on Sailor Island for stat tier rerolls (separate from point reset).

When to Reset Your Stats

  • You got a new weapon/spec — switching from sword to melee build? Reset and reallocate.
  • You hit endgame — your early-game Sword build might need to shift to Melee once you have an S-tier spec.
  • You got a strong Devil Fruit — if Light dropped for you, consider going Power build.
  • Your stat tiers changed — if you rolled SSS on Melee, it makes sense to shift more points there.
