How Our Values Work

SailorPieceValues.com uses multiple data sources to give you the most accurate picture of what items are worth — not just how strong they are.

V

Trade Value

The trade value represents what an item is worth in the Sailor Piece trading economy. Unlike other sites that only show tier lists, our values reflect actual trading activity — what players are willing to give up to get an item.

Values are determined by community voting. Logged-in users (Level 2+) can vote on what they think items are worth. Votes accumulate over 72 hours, and our algorithm calculates a weighted median — giving more influence to experienced, active community members.

This means values can't be easily manipulated by a single person. It takes consistent community consensus to move a value.

Demand Rating

Demand (1-5) measures how actively players are seeking an item — not how powerful it is. This is a critical distinction that most sites miss.

A combat-strong item might have low demand if it's untradeable or everyone already has it. A weaker item might have high demand if it's needed for crafting or is rare enough that collectors want it.

We calculate demand using real-money marketplace data. When real players spend real money to buy an item, that's the strongest possible signal of genuine demand. We monitor marketplace listing volumes and seller activity to determine which items players actually want.

We're one of the only Sailor Piece resources that tracks trading demand separately from combat tier rankings.

$

Market Price (USD)

Some items show a USD market price. This is sourced from real-money trading marketplaces where players buy and sell Sailor Piece items for real currency.

The market price serves as an external reality check on community values. If the community values an item at 100K but people are paying $15 real money for it, that tells us something important about its true worth.

We don't endorse or facilitate real-money trading. Market prices are shown for informational purposes only, to help you understand the broader trading landscape.

S

Tier Rating

Tier (S+, S, A, B, C, D) ranks items by combat effectiveness — damage output, utility, and how they perform in PvP and PvE.

Tier rankings are sourced from community guides and updated when game patches change the meta. A high tier doesn't always mean high trade value — and vice versa.

!

Non-Tradeable Items

Not everything in Sailor Piece can be traded. Swords cannot be traded between players in-game — they must be crafted or purchased individually.

We still list swords with their stats, tier rankings, and crafting costs because they're a major part of the game. But their "value" represents crafting investment, not trade worth.

Why Trust SailorPieceValues.com?

  • 1. Multiple data sources — We combine community votes, real-money marketplace data, and game research. No other Sailor Piece site does this.
  • 2. Anti-manipulation — Our voting algorithm uses weighted medians, level requirements, cooldowns, and outlier rejection. You can't just spam votes to change a value.
  • 3. Demand ≠ Tier — We're one of the only sites that tracks trading demand separately. A D-tier item can have high demand if it's needed for crafting.
  • 4. Proven team — We're the same team behind MM2.Rocks, the #1 Murder Mystery 2 value list.
